When this yacht makes sense

VALKYRIE suits larger private groups, celebrations, and corporate hosting when the brief is a high-service event charter. The 8 guests profile gives enough structure to plan the guest list early. 4 cabins also makes overnight suitability easier to judge.

Where to use it

Mediterranean can work well for VALKYRIE, but the route needs discipline. The best plan keeps the day focused instead of trying to collect too many stops, especially when the yacht is not forced into a rushed sightseeing loop.

Season and booking notes

Season matters because berth pressure, weather windows, and guest expectations change the charter. peak season dates, when cruising area, berth access, and crew availability should be checked early. A useful shortlist should also explain why check whether the yacht is being shortlisted for its real fit or only for its headline specs.

Life on board

a flagship charter mood built around privacy, hosting, and status. The toy and tender setup gives the broker more room to shape swim stops and guest flow. This is where a broker note is more useful than a raw specification list.

Compare before booking

Do not compare VALKYRIE on price alone. The stronger comparison is whether another yacht makes Mediterranean summer routes easier, gives the group a better deck rhythm, or solves a port constraint more cleanly.

What to verify

A good recommendation for VALKYRIE should include one reason to choose it and one condition to verify. That keeps the page useful for real charter planning instead of becoming another listing entry.

Exterior Design

Designed to feel at home racing in the North Atlantic or cruising the Med, this modern design furthers Tripp Design's evolution of increasingly high performance sailing yachts for cruising and racing. The lifting keel system affords the boat superb sailing qualities as the deep ballast package allows lightweight with high stability. The foil shape, unlike the typical cruiser racer, is deep and sleek - not compromised by draft restrictions - while still allowing access to harbors and shallow anchorages. The deck plan is of a low house, with a flush foredeck, and flush hatches. Amidships is a guest cockpit with flush dodgers, and a sailing cockpit aft. The yacht has a fully fitted out interior with four guest cabins, three with en-suite heads, a spacious salon and a well appointed galley; the crew area for two is practical, roomy and private. The hull form is a low displacement/length hull with a plumb bow and narrow waterlines, powered by a modern sail plan encompassing the latest improvements in sail handling such as retractable bowsprit, furling headsails, asymmetric spinnakers as well as Code Zeros. The hull construction uses advanced composites with prepreg carbon and Corecell core. The slim keel box is integrated into the interior design from the outset, forming the bulkhead of a major cabin, while tying the deck, hull, and mast step together as the main structural element.

Performance Range

Valkyrie is built with a carbon fibre hull and carbon fibre superstructure. Powered by 1 x Yanmar engines, she comfortably cruises at 9 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 1,000 nautical miles from her 1,500 litre fuel tanks.
