Who this yacht suits
OKTO is not a generic inventory pick. It is a better match when the client wants a flagship charter mood built around privacy, hosting, and status, a high-service event charter, and a route shaped around Mediterranean summer routes.
Local route logic
The local decision is less about distance and more about timing. Around Greece and Mediterranean, OKTO should be planned with boarding point, lunch stop, swim time, and return window in one brief. In practice, confirm cruising region before comparing yachts because availability changes by season.

For guests, the difference is felt in pace: where people sit, how lunch is handled, where swimming fits, and how the return feels. OKTO should be evaluated against that rhythm, not only against specs.
Shortlist logic
OKTO should be compared against at least one alternative if the brief is flexible. The useful difference may be cabin layout, crew style, speed, toys, berth access, or how naturally the yacht fits Greece and Mediterranean.
Broker caveat
Ask the broker to state the limitation as plainly as the advantage. For OKTO, the check should cover availability, owner approval where relevant, cruising area, APA, fuel, and whether the planned route still works in real weather.
Charter price

Guest experience
The value is in the way the yacht supports guests: cabins, deck space, crew flow, toys, tenders, service rhythm and the ability to make the route feel effortless.
Operating reality
Fuel, provisioning, berths, delivery, local taxes and crew gratuity should be clarified before treating any weekly or day rate as the full charter budget.
Comparison
OKTO vs newer 80m+ yachts
Newer yachts in the same class may offer fresher interiors, newer beach clubs or updated wellness layouts. OKTO should be compared on guest fit, refit status, deck flow, crew programme, toys, range, availability and the route you actually want to run.
The strongest shortlist is not the newest yacht by default. It is the yacht whose layout, service style and operating assumptions match the client, the port and the itinerary.

Overview
The 216.54ft /66m custom motor yacht 'OKTO' was built in 2014 by ISA. Previously named GRANTURISO, her luxurious interior is designed by Alberto Pinto and her striking exterior styling is by Andrea Vallicelli. A true game changer, OKTO has raised the bar in superyacht design and engineering. Fusing the upmost expertise, creativity and serenity, she exceeds all expectations.
Exterior Design
OKTO is certainly a sight to behold. On top of her jet black steel hull with its piercing bow sits a sleek, sparkling superstructure and this striking profile is only the start of her appeal. A large pool for salt or fresh water on the main deck aft is bound to become the hub of any charter vacation while the bridge deck aft abounds with space for alfresco dining, lounging and socializing with fellow guests. A secluded sun deck, meanwhile, with a Jacuzzi and sunning options provides a more intimate escape.
Interior Design
One of the last projects the late designer Alberto Pinto worked on, OKTO boasts a harmonious continuity between inside and outdoors. On the main deck, five-metre-wide glass doors slide open into an opulent salon. Pale furniture, lacquered surfaces and stainless steel structural detail flow from one space to the next while natural light floods in through huge windows. Visually striking, the grand ambiance and extraordinary comfort of this space continues throughout the whole motor yacht.
Special Features
The enormous engineering efforts of BMT Nigel Gee has equipped OKTO with ground-breaking low levels of noise and vibrations in all owner, guest and crew areas. Not to be outdone, the bespoke decks are composed of a rare eco-friendly material by Esthec, a stunning switch from the usual teak.
